Cyber Security needs to be built into system infrastructures and Its a cover-up to say: It’s your fault because you should not have opened that suspicious email, or it’s their fault because they ought to have used stronger passwords. The truth is that the system itself--our current approach to cyber security--is badly flawed and desperately needs to be re-engineered. 

 

As President Obama's recent public statement emphasized, achieving cyber security is a key national priority. If legislation is needed to drive improvements and we are crafting the next generation of courtroom rulings and cyber security law.  Our collaboration with Professor Edward J. Imwinkelried, of the UC Davis School of Law, has allowed us to educate judges on Cyber Security Matters.
